Honest, Compassionate Therapy for Difficult Times

Maybe something (everything) feels heavy; maybe you’re searching for meaning in a moment of uncertainty, loss, or transition. Whatever brought you here, you’re not alone.

It’s possible for therapy to feel like a real conversation—not a checklist of coping skills, but a space to get curious about your experience and what it means for you. Some sessions might be about untangling difficult emotions. Others might be about sitting with life’s big questions. All of it is welcome here.

Clients who connect with my approach are often those who have difficulty opening up, feel constrained by societal norms and are seeking a space where they can be seen authentically, reclaim power and community, and explore their emotions without judgment.

If you belong to a subculture related to music, art, gaming, lifestyle, politics, or other alternative spaces, you may have felt out of place in traditional therapy settings. Together, we can navigate the complexities of identity in communities that often go misunderstood.

If a person or group has used their power against you, you may carry the impacts of being silenced, dismissed, or controlled. Here, your voice matters. We can work toward reclaiming your sense of self and agency.

If shame keeps you from showing up meaningfully in your life, we can explore how those narratives took hold and how to loosen their grip. You are not the worst thing you’ve ever done, nor the worst thing that has happened to you.

If you are grieving a loss, whether recent or long ago, I offer a space where your grief doesn’t need to be rushed or “fixed.”

If you struggle with avoidance in emotions, conversations, or choices that feel overwhelming, we can gently approach what’s been hard to confront.
