Humans need each other. Healthy relationships (romantic, friendship, familial, communal) are necessary for a healthy life. In couples therapy we’ll draw from several well-researched approaches to help you and your partner(s) reconnect. Using tools from the Gottman Method, we’ll identify patterns to decrease conflict and build skills for healthier communication, trust, and emotional closeness. With Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we’ll explore the deeper emotions beneath your interactions to help you feel more secure and valued in your relationship.
Individual Therapy
$120 for 50 minutes

My approach to individual counseling is informed by a combination of evidenced-based counseling theories - Internal Family Systems, Narrative Theory, Acceptance and Commitment (ACT) Therapy, and Humanistic Approaches - with an emphasis on the quality of our therapist-client relationship. I emphasize the exploration of cultural and environmental contexts (past, present, and futures) knowing that the historically individual-focused perspective of psychotherapy does not capture the full picture of our actual lives.
